review 1: 52 Reasons to Hate My Father was an amazing book. It had many twists and turns and left me wanting more. Lexington Larabee is the main character who is a stuck-up rich girl. Who's father is the richest man around. Lexi has never worked in her life, until now. Her father is making her do 52 jobs over the summer, so she can feel what a normal girl feels. She instantly freaks out and tries to get out of every job. My favorite part in the book was at the end, when she realizes that she might have 52 reasons to hate her father but she only needs one reason to love him. I thought the moral of this story was, you shouldn't think that your better than everyone else, just because you have more money, we are all humans. I would recommend this book for teenage girls! This book defini... moretely is for girls who think they hate their father.
review 2: 52 Reasons to Hate My Father is one of the best books I have ever read. The "girly girl" part of the book makes it a million times better. It is not only about a girl who has to finally hit reality but it is also a romantic love story.52 Reasons to Hate My Father is about a girl named Lexington Larrabee whose father is a billion dollar media empire. Well on Lexington 18th birthday her dad gets her a brand new Mercedes Benz, that she crashes into convenience stores on Sunset Blvd. Her father decided to not fix her car but instead get a new job every week for a year to finally wake up and face reality. Her father then decided to hire a college intern named Luke to keep tabs on her. Lexington does not like this cute but conceited guy. She does not want to listen to him and go to work at all and she tries everything in her power to get out of going. No matter how hard she tries, Luke is always right there to make her go. At times she hates the people she works with but no matter what she cannot quit. During all of this their ends up being a love connection between two certain lovely people.I would only recommend this book for girls, it is more of a preppy book with a lot of girl drama and a romantic story. Lexington is actually my favorite character, she has a lot of sass and is not afraid to speak her mind, but when she is actually a sweet girl once you get passed the rich side of her. She loves her dad and all she wants is for her dad to be apart of her life, so she does things for attention to get her dad to finally notice her for once. Especially since her mom had died at a young age. This book kind of reminds me of my life except for the rich part and my mom did not die she just left when I was three and I feel like I connect really well to this story. less
