review 1: I don't think I have mooned over a billionaire as much as I have mooned over Jonathan Lyons. The history he had with Violet DeWitt gave this series a refreshing pace, and I had cried a lot and fell in love with Jonathan's devotion. This book won't be a favorite because I find Violet a wee bit lacking as a strong character versus Gretchen and Maylee, but this book definitely deserves the stars. Congratulations, Jessica Clare!
review 2: I was looking forward to this release, but honestly, I had to push my way through it. Violet and Jonathan had been in love as teens, but because of Jonathan's own past, he couldn't commit to her when she needed him most. He turned his back, so she thought and chose to stay with her father as his student instead of being with her
... more. Jonathan never stopped loving her and has to earn her trust and love. There were some parts that were very emotional and touched me. Then there were times you got tired of Violet constantly pushing him away. Still a good read and I am looking forward to the next installment. less

Love this series but I couldn't get into this book. The heroine was just beyond obnoxious.
