review 1: Stars: 4Overall: Audrey and her sister Daphene are heading up to their old friend Cade's cabin to help Daphene to detox and quit drugs for good, but once they get their the surprise of a hot tub was awaiting them. Reese brought an heiress to the cabin to work over, but he get the surprise of life, when two girls show up and ruin his fun and possible his deal. Audrey freaks out a little and when Cade shows up she tries to get Reese kicked out, but in the end he stays just in get under their skin. They start out by teasing and getting on each others nerves and that turns quickly into flirting and dares. The rest of the story is a fun read with a lot of sexy time and finding out what you really want in a relationship. The ending was sweet and it was just a really loveable sto... morery. Pros: I really liked the angst and drama between Audrey and Reese. It was fun to see them go back and forth between themselves and their emotions about a real relationship. I thought Reese has been the funniest character out of the series so far and the way he brought out the fun side in Audrey was just fun to read about. My favorite parts have to be the skinny dip lake and the sexiness next to the woodpile. If I had to pick a man to be with in the series, I think it would have to be Reese and Hunter coming in as a REALLY close second. Cons: I personally didn't have any cons with this story.Characters: Audrey & Reese Page Turner: YesSeries Cont: YesRecommend: YES! I recommend this whole series!
review 2: 3rd book in the series. I've read and listened to the audible version and really like this book. There's a lot of humor and wit between Reese and Audrey's exchanges. Up until now, Audrey has been the stick up her butt and efficient personal assistant to Logan (book 1). This book shows a very liberated and confident side to her that was unexpected. Reese is a wonderful and enjoyable hero. He's strong (literally, too, with that wood chopping), confident, and so human with his vulnerable moments. You're rooting for these two and I love how Audrey didn't fight her feelings for Reese over Cade. Obviously we're going to get a final book in the series for Cade and Daphne (Audrey's twin), but I'm not exactly clamoring for those two quite yet. Cade followed Daphne around like a puppy dog that was not endearing in the least. Daphne showed some vulnerable moments in this one compared to her brass confrontation in the other sister's book (Gretchen, book 2). I'm warming up to her, but Cade needs to get a backbone. LOVE this series!! less
