review 1: I'd say J.F. Penn's How To Market A Book is a must-read for anyone looking to publish a book. Penn explains just about everything you need to know, including setting up a website, using social media, and connecting with the press. After reading this book, I made several changes to my website and have already noticed some positive changes. As well, I changed the content of my tweets and have gotten a lot more retweets and favorites. Penn really knows her stuff!
review 2: Good solid advice. If you have been following Penn for a while, it may all seem quite familiar (and in some part I would skip over those things that to me, seem common sense)but there are some great gems in here particularly in the form of links. My favourite section was hers on how she uses soc
... moreial media and the things you shouldn't do (some of which I have been guilty of using in the past!). This book is ground zero, a great launch pad for newbies and a good return trip for those of us who need a reminder of good strategies. less
