review 1: This is another in the series by J.F.Penn of her Arcane thrillers. I found myself interested in the book, but also found it not as interesting as her first three. This book is much shorter, and well, it was after all only "one day," but still I found I wanted more action. It is a good read, and if you like thrillers have have the Indiana Jones meets with Tomb Raider then this could be your kind of novel. J.F. Penn also does some great research in each of her novels, and it comes out in this book as well.Overall, a great read, and something for the beach if your heading of for holidays.
review 2: On the surface, it's another 'action movie' kinda book from the Dan Brown, Jason Bourne school. Morgan Sierra is a lovely composite of Lara Croft, Hannibal Jones and a s
... moremidgeon of James Bond.On a whole other level though the book a salutary reminder that the 'old days' of hate are never that far away if we let fear-full thinking gain a foothold.Well done for encapsulating so much of a point in a book that takes less than a day to read. I am heading to Budapest next year as it happens and my itinerary will be guided by the places in this novella. Big thanks for the history lesson. less
