review 1: This is the second Richard Sherlock Whodunit I have read. Good mystery, and lots of fun to read. Sherlock's assistant is Tiffany the daughter of an insurance company CEO who Sherlock works for on a contract basis. Tiffany is priviledged, self-centered, and a fashionesta. Sherlock's teenage daughters adore Tiffany who takes them shopping and is their fashion and lifestyle idol. Light and entertaining with a good story line.
review 2: At first, the tongue-in-cheek, let's make fun of the genre was amusing. Perhaps even funny in parts. But then, it never stopped and it became tedious. And then, it felt like the author was so engrossed and clearly having fun writing the spoof that he lost sight of the story and after a while, I simply didn't care enough to finish th
... moree book or find out "who-dun-it." It was too over-the-top for me and I gave up on it. There's only so much goofy sarcasm one can stomach in one reading. Too many books and not enough time ... less

A couple annoying characters, and a plot that the reader never ever could have figured out.
