review 1: I almost put this book down after an error in the first chapter that it seemed impossible an editor could miss (the protagonist is headed off to his son's baseball game at the beginning of the chapter, but this turns into a wrestling meet at the end of the chapter). I'm glad I didn't. It was a great thriller with some surprising twists and turns. Some loose ends, perhaps, but overall a great read.
review 2: Suspenseful, intense, graphic thriller. I have to say I figured out pretty early who the psycho was, but, nonetheless, I was compelled to keep reading to fill in the details and see how the author chose to end the story. Twice as long as needed. Very wordy at points somewhat boring. Characters not very nice.
