review 1: I knew what was coming right after I read The Party disaster, and the further I read, the harder it was to me. In fact, I had to stop reading at some points for a while (during a couple of days) because it was affecting me a lot.You know, I felt sort of identified with Kelly, due to the fact that, like him, I also was an asshole during my secondary school years. Yeah, I stopped being that, and in the end I grew up I realised that wasn't a good path to follow, but by reading this book,it made me realise what could have happened if I hadn't changed. And well, it also made me remember a lot of things I thought they were buried very deep. That's way it affected to me so hard. That's all, I just wanted to say that.
review 2: I liked the first four books in this serie
... mores. I've started the fifth one, but couldn't finish it. It was just too long-winded for me, with lots of focus on characters I had no interest in.Otherwise this series had a few nice moments, but I definitely liked the first one best. Kyle's thoughts in that one were perfectly written, and I think the series would have benefited from more of that and less of the drawn out scenes in later books. less
