review 1: 3.5I am reviewing as a standalone short story, as I have not read the prior books in the Tales from Forster High series. This is a sweet short story that is well-written and held my interest. It is also free, which is generous of the author, and I feel deserves a thank-you as well. The story line revolves around the mystery of a little silver rose on the end of a chain that hangs on Brad’s neck. Through flashbacks that are written in an active, engaging tone, we learn what the significance of the rose means. It’s both a sweet and sad story, and I’d recommend it. I especially think this story would be a wonderful one to read if you have read the previous books. The best thing about reading this story for me was it gave me the urge to know more, and to want to go back a... morend read the story of how Brad and Kyle met. I think their story would be fun and interesting to take part in.
review 2: I love this series, love these characters and can never seem to get enough of them!!This was a short, sweet read that tells a bit more about Brad and his background, which, while he says it ruins the mood he was trying to create with Kyle, it is another important detail of what makes Brad the person he is - and thankfully now being true to the person he is within! Can hardly wait for the next installment on these two!!! less

A short but very sweet story. It actually brought tears to my eyes in the end. :)

This novella is a bit anticlimatic... I don't think it was necessary to read.
