review 1: I really enjoyed this book! It made me laugh, cry and angry at the same time. This was really an emotional rollercoaster! But it was definetely worth it. I'm very happy for John that this book was such a succes. (I also liked the movie!) Ofcourse it's not the happiest subject to write a book about, but he really made it into something wonderful. It's a cry-book (as i like to call it) but like i said, there are some really funny moments and i enjoy that. Over all, this was a really good book!
review 2: I re-read it this month and fell in love with the story again. (If for some reason you don't know about TFIOS or you live under a rock in solitude, it's a book about these two kids with cancer that fall in love). Now, the story is amazing and I love the dialogue a
... morend Augustus and Hazel. I cried so hard still. However, I do not think it deserves all the hype it has gotten and it's a bit overrated. I LOVE THE BOOK. but I don't think it's as good as everyone says it is. One problem I have is the fact that there is not a ton of character development outside Gus and Hazel and Isaac and maybe Hazel's mom. I felt like it needed more characters or some of the side characters needed to be more developed. Also, a lot of the time, I felt like the narration of the story was choppy and didn't flow right which kinda bugged me. regardless, I love the book less
