review 1: Concise breakdown of well documented information from the internet. Then mix in a good amount of 'bro'-ism. The information is useful and will work if you follow it correctly, and I applaud John on trying to not make another mass of word vomit and cheesy inspiration. If your interested, I think leangains.com has a much better breakdown of the diet mechanism used in here. He does however add a good amount of guidance for hormone regulation which is important. Overall, the book was okay.
review 2: I think that the hormonal approach to physical fitness is a sure way to get healthy in a long term view. Also I tried by myself the intermittent fast and it helped me. When i understood the hormonal optimization approach this book shows it changed my whole paradigm
... more about fitness and it makes HUGE sense since im studying medicine and everything I read here was just physiologically coherent. I get to this book through adam gilad (a personal coach, writer of the 21 laws of boldness) and I also can add that i finished last year, and 1 year after reading this book i optimized my hormones and im now working out everyday and have more energy than ever. And the best part, is that i see no ending to getting better physically. less
