review 1: While nothing in this book is earth-shattering, it is a good reminder to stop complaining and to think positively.I also like that it is told in a story format, instead of just some boring person telling you why we complain and what to do to rectify it.Also, the techniques mentioned to go from complaining to thinking about complaining to turning it to fully being about no complaining are useful. I also like that it tells us that no matter what, we're always going to complain.I think the easiest thing to do, per the book's suggestion, is to become aware of the complaining, and once you do, the simple thing to first start with is to end that with a "but" and then put a positive spin on it. For example: "My job is so stressful and it's really bogging me down ... but ... at le... moreast I have a job when so many people don't." (Of course, my job can have some stress, but I do love it, so ... I wasn't talking about my job in particular there. ^_^)Also, it's a really, really quick read.
review 2: This book was rather refreshing to listen to. Rather than having it in the style of a self help book, it is told through a story. The main character's name is Hope and she is really struggling with her work life and her personal life. Her negative view is turned around by an individual who introduces the no complaining rule. I'd recommend this book to anyone who is looking to have more positivity in their life less
