review 1: I thought that this story was very original. I have never heard a story like it. I loved how when the pig and the princess switched places, that both parents figured that it was a good fairy or bad fairy who changed them into a pig/ human. The book was very creative when the sets of parents would be holding a book that relates to the situation they were in as they said "it is what happens in the books." Over all, this was a very cute book that had a fun plot line and kept me reading until the end. I would highly suggest it for any ages of people.
review 2: You wouldn't think it would be that difficult to tell the difference between a piglet and a baby, but if the parties involved could do so, there wouldn't be this cute book now would there. A baby and a pigle
... moret were switched at birth, and neither the King and Queen (for the baby was a princess) or the farmer questioned the result. One day, the farmer's wife overheard two castle servants talking about the princess who had turned into a pig. The farmer and his wife put two and two together and understood the situation. They spoke with the King and the Queen, who didn't believe a word of the story. So the farmer and his wife lived happily ever after with their daughter (the princess) and the King and the Queen married off their rather portly pig to an unfortunate prince. This would be a great book for a "mystery reader" at school. less
