review 1: Ahh, WELCOME BACK COLTON! We all love these books and every time Jordan Silver announces another one, we jump at the chance to get it!This one is a short story of sorts. I you read Lyon's Angel than this is the story of what happened between when he rescued Kat from the psycho who kidnapped her to when she goes into labor. Basically any questions that anyone had after the last book.I have to always say that I again am absolutely in love with Jordan's writing skills and characters. This book was a bit more serious in the writing department and in the series. You saw a side to Lyon that you haven't seen before, the controlling man is back it again and he's taking prisoners. review 2: Ahhh... Colton. You big, sexy, hunk of a man-beast. I cannot stop yearning for more of his and Kat's story. They are so perfect for one another. Who am I kidding, Colt is perfect for me.Colton Lyon is the bossy, stubborn defender of all things "Kat" related, the knight in tarnished armor, and most definitely the complete definition of "bad-a$$", but his love for Kat cannot be denied. He would do anything, and I mean ANYTHING for his Angel. Come on, that gets to me every time he calls her that. He doesn't call her that as just another endearment, like "honey" or "babe", because to Colt, she is an Angel.I also love Colt's parents: Daniel, his pothead Dad, who is also a doctor and is always jonesing for his wife, the lovely and nosey Elena, as well as his next joint. He is hilarious, and might I say,kind of hot himself. Then there is Char, the psychic/clairvoyant best friend to Elena. She may not have been in play for this novella, but she is also a riot. Colt's baby sister, Carol could have her own story sometime. Maybe a little love connection with Kat's pseudo-brother, another swoon-worthy bad-ass: Jared, eh? If you have not read this hot series, get right on that. Love, love, love it!!!! There is no cheating. Never a hint. Love that all angst comes from outside their relationship.
