review 1: 3.5 The second of a trilogy, this has the classic middle book issue: straddling the beginning and the wrap up with no closure. But, there's a lot of action so it goes fast and the tension ratchets up as we see there are other things to be afraid of in the Dark. We also find out a lot more about the adults of the Arclight and much more about Honoria,which are surprising. Marina, Cherish, Rue and Tobin all have to work together to survive, which leads to a kind of cliffhanger. Overall good continuation, which I look forward to wrapping up with the final book.
review 2: I'll be honest Arclight seemed like forever ago and I had trouble at the beginning of Meridian remembering what happened. But once I got into the swing of things I loved this sequel! I love how we ... moregot to see more of Rue and the rest of the Fade. I'll admit I am very partial to Rue and I hope Marina/Cherish ends up with him. The action and adventure in this book far surpassed that of Arclight and I can't wait for the next book! less
