review 1: Casey Marshall has it all. Riches, a wonderful husband she's deeply in love with, and great friends. Until, one day a car smashes into her, breaking bones and almost taking her life. She remains, to the world, in a coma. Unable to see, speak or move, Casey discovers she can hear the conversations around her. She soon learns that a local detective believes her accident may have been a deliberate attempt to kill her...
review 2: I was so disappointed in this book. I was looking forward to reading it, as I loved Fielding's early books & had not read any others in several years. So I was excited to get this one. I knew the premise of the story, but still expected it to be interesting, even suspenseful, but it was neither. It was slow-moving and became tediously
... more so after several chapters. Honestly, I can't believe I read over half the book, in hopes that it would pick up & become interesting. I didn't read all the book, I just couldn't. Reading this slow, tedious story about a woman in a coma almost put me in one. I cannot recommend this book to anyone else. I wish I could. I'm not giving up on Joy Fielding books. Will still pick up another, hoping it will be as good as her first stories. less

I hate it when their dialog makes female characters sound stupid.

Interesting premise. Predictable and therefore at times dull.
