review 1: Vampire zombies with acid blood?The vampire police, Council assassins and warriors?And did anyone notice that Cass didn't go into honeymoon heat?WTF?I personally feel that the author just chucked on the Following to add in a fight scene and a reason for Cass's life to be in jeopardy so he can learn a lesson in lesson. Cass Cowell is struggling with nightmares and a feels empty of feeling, the cause of with he desperately wants to keep from his past from his family. A past in which he believes that he was the reason that his mate commits suicide. Things could not get when Cass meets Logan, who is a vampire thtat has been in a relationship with his best friend for hundreds of years.However when he meets his second mate Merrick Roman, and after a mental melt down, it become... mores apparent that his dead loved one was not his mate, but the brother of his mate. After a rocky start to their mating Logan and Merrick have a painful wait to see if Cass will survive after nearly dying from fighting (as I mentioned earlier) vampire zombies aka Followers.
review 2: typical joyee flynn serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical joyee flynn? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.). out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by :joyee flynnsunny daylynn hagenstormy glennscarlett hyacinthcarol lynnegabrielle evansunless otherwise noted. i'd apologize, but i'm not sorry. i figure it's about as much time as they put into their books. dammit! well, i made it all the way to the end being rather moderate in my assessment. that's a win less
