review 1: Finally a Vampire mystery series! Sam Moon is a P.I. Ever since she became a vampire 6 years ago. She was a federal agent but she couldn't stay out in the daylight...although I have to say she is out during the day quite a bit with her super powered sunscreen, gloves and big floppy hats. Sam has a family, 2 kids and a butt head husband. He is "grossed" out that Sam is a vampire. Anyways these books are funny, filled with great characters, romances and good butt kicking! I haven't enjoyed a series like this since Sookie chose Sam and happily ever after..sad...no more books.Anyways I can't wait for more, A+ JR Rain! I'm so glad someone recommended your books and I will continue the chain! review 2: I throughly enjoyed this book and because they were so eas... morey to read I read all four books at once and didnt feel I needed a break, in fact the stories ended with me needing and wanting to know more, and the fact that I only found them by accident makes it all the better. They are funny, clever and bring what I think is a whole new twist to the vampire story. I cant wait to get the next instalments and highly recommend if you like vampire stories, but also if you like mysteries. less
