review 1: OH HOLY FUCK!! J.S. Cooper has done it again! She baited me, got me hooked, and left me hanging! The Love Trials 2 begins where the first novella left off. Nancy decides to confront Jaxon about the conversation she had overheard. He reveals the secret as to why she really got accepted into Lovers’ Academy but doesn’t tell her the whole truth. As her feelings and trust in him grow, Hunter begins to fade into the background. But Hunter is hiding something as well. He has an agenda and he’s not letting her go readily. The series definitely HEATS UP in this second novella! Nancy and Jaxon make a HELLUVA a couple…lots of sexual tension intermixed with quick-witted banters and sobering honest revelations. There were some HOT scenes in this book, but I particula... morerly loved the club scene. It just shows what a smart and strong person Nancy is. As for Jaxon, I was intrigued by him at the beginning, but as the mystery around him unravels and I learn more about him, I find myself falling in love with him. Yes, he’s not being completely honest with Nancy, but I get the feeling he’s being used by his father. But who knows, guess I’ll have to wait and see.Just when things start to kind of make sense and I thought I knew where the story was going, J.S. Cooper does THIS! A heart-stopping, mind-spinning cliffhanger! Who was it? Who did it? Why?? I’m anxiously waiting for part 3 to come out. Hopefully J.S. Cooper will show me some mercy, put me out of my misery, and give it to me soon!
review 2: Wow, on pins and needles. Nancy and Jaxon are one hot and sexy couple. Their sexual feelings for each other are off the charts. Again with the mystery JS Cooper. I absolutely love trying to think what's going to happen next. Plus always with all the secrets. Her books really get you thinking. I love all her books and am adding this one to the list. Can't wait for the next and final book in the series. less
