This offering gives us an in-depth look at William Shakespeare, particularly regarding his relationship with his wife. We also get to meet Kit Marlowe and a host of other playwrights and players. It is rich in historical detail and i stayed up late to finish it, which is truly the sign of good book.

The novel's style is matched by the depiction of its characters, and Anne comes out from behind the shadows to be seen as a living breathing woman facing the challenges of marriage to an absent literary and dramatic genius. less
