review 1: This book comes in handy for sure, if not for myself then for products for my children. Both my four and one year old boys occasionally suffer from unexplained skin rashes, terrible allergies to everything out there you can use to launder/wash or soap.Julie also conveniently provides the links for her most recommended shops that provide the components to her recipes.There's a bit of fun chemistry involved - the processes are also thoroughly explained by Julie, as well as information on why she made her decisions of using organic / plant / nature derived components versus buying things at the store.All in all it's a great resource, and I'll be getting on making some of those baby lotions right away!
review 2: Like the first book of this series, there is some goo... mored info in this book. Unfortunately, it was not well edited. There are many wrong word choices, some recipes with descriptions that clearly do not fit the recipe (mentioning of ingredients that aren't a part of the recipe, for example) and some definite formatting issues in the Kindle edition. Not to mention the lack of a clickable table of contents.I borrowed the book through Lendle and right now I'm not certain if I will purchase it or not due to those issues. It makes me question the accuracy of the recipes. less
