review 1: I did not enjoy this very much. I found it very unbelievable- the neat bow at the end didn't jive with the sort of self-realization that the character was supposed to be ramping up to. Why would you ever stop someone from telling you something truly important- especially a man you plan on sleeping with a few moments afterward? Wouldn't you want to know if he was dying, had some disease, etc.? Just didn't seem believable.
review 2: If you are a Francophile, like I am myself, you will probably enjoy reading this book, as it is filled with fodder for our French-loving hearts. That aside, this novel is little more than a classic chick-lit novel that never really distinguishes itself from other books of the genre.
