review 1: I a so disappointed. I know Ms. Masters has been through a lot personally and hit a major wall with her muse while working on Luke's book and used this one to clear it. But this book is no where near the quality of the first three in the series. I loved those three, found the 4th to be good, and then now we have this. I still can't get beyond the kink list for a first time scene there was no checking for likes or dislikes, no real discussion and he assumed she knew what she liked from reading a book even though she was inexperienced and a virgin? Really?Then we get to the horrible wedding night. What should have been the most romantic spot in the book was not. Her deflowering was all wrong and then...he says "Let's take a shower?" That whole part of the book was so... more unromantic I almost didn't finish.The whole book was rushed, the relationship came way to fast and even dealing with his PTSD was so uncharacteristic for the author. I always felt this was a go to author... now I am questioning that in the future.
review 2: This book was beautiful! 5 the installment in the rescue me series but can be read as a stand alone so if you haven't read kallys other books you are still good to read this first then go get the rest of the series. But read those in order. What can I say about this book besides it was phenomenal! It grabs you from the get go bringing you in and making it hard for you to put it down. I laughed and cried and even on a couple of occasions I even had to set the kindle down to go whoa! This book has everything you need for a great romance book. The couple in the story is so relatable you can actually see yourself in the story...well it was for me lol. But this book is brilliant you will not regret buying this book. I seriously couldn't put it down and I hope you give this a chance and enjoy it as much as I did. less
