review 1: This book dragged on for me to the point that it was starting to drive me crazy. Maybe it was me but there was a ton of thing that just did not have to be there that made the book way longer then it had to be there and towards then end I just started skipping parts just make the pain end. I usually love Kare Rose as an author and I love her series but this one just was not up to par for me which was not good because I was really looking forward to Clay and Stevie's story. I was worth reading but was not great is all that I can say.
review 2: 5+++ Stars!!! What an amazing author! I am in awe. Could not put down! Barely got anything else done while reading this book. Pretty much stayed in my PJs for like 30 hours. Took a couple of short naps. Kept right on readin... moreg! I like what Publisher's Weekly had to say, "Rose juggles a large cast, a huge body count, and a complex plot with terrifying ease." This is sooo true! At least 3 story lines going along, pulling things from the past and present together, then all blending at the end. Wow! I only wish I could write like this. Karen Rose is now my idol!! :) less
