Inspector Konrad Sejer
review 1: I'm really enjoying this series with Inspector Sejer. He has such an analytical way of looking at crimes. And trying to make all the pieces fit. This time the story is about the murder of a man, who's body is found in a stream. The Inspector wonders if this murder might be connected to a murder of a woman a few months before. As he sets out to find answers, he meets Eva. He's interested in her and e can't believe how everything comes back to her. As he digs deeper and tries to get answers everything comes together and makes more sense. But you also see sad he feels to solve this crime. Good series!!
review 2: This was the first of the Inspector Sejer books and is a good intoduction to the inspector. He is a widower who lives with his 70k dog with occas
... moreional visits to his daughter and grandson. He is intelligent with a meticulous approach to his investigations. In this book he has two murders and the connection to both gradually emerges. The book is a thriller and compelling reading . The end is a little predictable but still worth a read. Fossum develops her characters well giving us insight into their private moments. less

Enjoyable but i thought the structure was weak making it easy to predict the outcome.
