review 1: I love this book! The illustrator does a phenominal job of bring out the feelings of the scared bear by using dark colors and exaggerted lines to show the seriousness of his situation. The author keeps driving the point of bear feeling scared thorughout the whole book. Because he is lost in the dark woods alone the author writes in other characters who are woodland friends of bear and concerned for him and willing to do what ever it takes to find him. It was a very nice story about friendship and feelings.
