review 1: We heard this story at our story time hour today and just had to bring it home.This is part of a series with main character being Bear. In all the books Bear and the reader have an epiphany.In this book, Bear realizes that even though he has no food or drink to contribute to the feast, his friends want him there because his contribution is the great stories that he tells.Happy Thanksgiving 2013.
review 2: I enjoyed this picture book immensely. I loved the art work - the nice big pages, big illustrations, the animals, the colors, the rhymes and the story. In this story bear looks through his cupboards but finds them bare. His friends arrive with lots of goodies to share. He feels bad at first and explains he has nothing to share. But his friends assure him, they... more don't mind sharing their goodies in exchange for his stories (and company of course too). less
