review 1: Who doesn't like the bear and his friends? While looking for a snack in the woods, darkness and a storm cause bear to become lost. Scared and alone, bear tries to wait out the storm. Meanwhile his friends worry for his safety and form a search party. They find dear bear and return him home to the safety of his lair. Inventive language and beautiful paintings contribute to more popular stories about bear. Appropriate for Grades PreK - 2.
review 2: Another Bear book by Karma Wilson! Bear is walking though the forest when it begins to get dark and a storm begins, but Bear can't find his way home. Bear is scared. His friends back at the den are worried about Bear and go out in search of him. They find him huddled by a tree, very scared. They take him bac... morek to the den and get him all warmed up, and then Bear feels safe. Great storytime book! less
