review 1: i loved this book!! The tone changes drastically but it was amazing!! i have read the book like 4 times! every time i am still taken by suprize!!! The way the author shows you the characters feelings, emotions and makes you feel like you are right there with them, still sends me into awe. i find myself giving the characters advice in my mind, until i remember that it is just a story and they wont be able to hear me! It kept me on the edge of my seat and kept me reading.

The cat has to stay out of side from the owner, because he would use the cat as bait for hunting. The kittens grew up with their mom and their dad- like hound. One day, Puck one of the kittens went into the world while everyone else was asleep, even though his mother told him not to ever go out from the underneath.When Puck was picked up from the mean owner, the mother ran to protect her baby, but her took the mother too. They were put on a truck in a sac, and were dropped in a lake. Will they swim to survival, and find their way back? Read this amazing book to find out. less

Hands down my favorite book of the year. Might even end up in my top 50 for life...but that will only be seen by whether or not this book stays on my mind and heart years from now. This author writes how I've imagined I would write, only she does it perfectly...I can never be her, I might as well give up and just claim this book as the book I never wrote but should have. The subject matter is not light and airy, you are now warned. But the writing style is beautiful.
