review 1: It only makes sense that I would love this book since I own a Goldendoodle who also happens to be a therapy dog and certainly has the "mojo" of Mogie in the story! Knowing what therapy dogs can do for sick people (and well people alike!) and knowing that children love animal stories, this book will surely be a hit with children! While my dog is not at a Ronald McDonald House, she is well known like Mogie and patients wait in the lobby for her visits!
review 2: 4.5 stars (a more varied color palette would complete the 5 stars) Heartwarming story of a resident therapy dog in the Houston Ronald McDonald House, brought a tear to my eye. My beloved Guthrie worked as a therapy dog (until his obsession with frisbee) and my niece stayed at a Ronald McDonald House so... more this book hits close to home. Author's note on back end papers (partially covered by the jacket flap in the library book I read) explains Mogie's arrival at RMH Houston, his photo is on the back cover. Best line "Give him a kiddo bluer than blue, and Mogie will be truer than true." less
