review 1: ViralsKathy ReichsThe book starts off talking about how Tory Brennan ended up on Morris Island in Charleston SC and where she came from. Tory and her new friends then start investigating an old dog tag that found at the Loggerhead Island Research Institute (where there parents work). It leads them to uncovering the bones of a women that went missing on August 24, 1969. Near the end of the book there investigation of Katherine Heaton leads them to Claybourne Manor were they are almost killed for finding out what happened to Katherine Heaton.My favorite part of the book was at the end when Tory and her friends were fighting with Chance and Hannah in the cellar. My least favorite portion was that it starts off a little slow. Which is why I gave it four out-of five stars inste... moread of five out-of five. I also belive that she could have made the ending a little better than it was, but it still worked for this book.I would recommend Virals to all 7th - 9th graders who like mystery book that are fast pace because once you stat it you will dying to find out what happens next.
review 2: Actual Rating: 3.7 I really enjoyed this book. The plot was engaging and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. There was only 2 things that I didn't like about this. One, the way she wrote, it was kind of chunky and clunky at times. Two, the main character is exactly like Temperance Brennan, who just happens to have all of the same interests, the same name, and is her aunt. yeah. less
