review 1: Perhaps this isn't the best offering from Katie Fforde, but it was still a fun read. I've been a fan for years, and recently re-read almost all of her books. I did find this one uneven - not enough about the antiques business to make me feel connected to the story - and a sort of boring - and somewhat inexplicable - relationship between the 2 main characters. That all sounds like I really didn't like the book, but that wouldn't be true, either. If you're not already a Katie Fforde fan, this probably isn't the one to get you hooked - but if you're looking for an easy summer read, this could be it.
review 2: A story about two sisters who inherit a small amount of money on condition that they try their hand at the antiques business their eccentric aunt was in,
... more and the owner of the premises where their aunt sold antiques. The women blossom, indifferent directions, and for one of them romance develops. There are few surprises in the plot, and I found the behaviour of the lead male character often irritatingly obtuse: but the book is still a pleasant read. less

Pure fluff, but a nice cosy read. Purchased at the Athens airport, perfect airplane reading.

Ending was slightly disappointing - seemed to lack creativity.
