review 1: Con un arte muchísimo mejor que el de To aru Majutsu no index, siguiendo la historia de "Railgun" o Misaka, para luego combinar tramas en cierto punto con su serie alterna To aru Majutsu... Me parece que la historia también es mejor que en la otra serie, pues donde alla nos habla de los puntos contrarios entre magia y ciencia y seguimos la historia de Touma, quien puede anular cualquier poder tanto mágico como psíquico con su Imagine Breaker, aquí podemos ver la historia desde un punto de vista más divertido y desde el punto de vista de un poderoso psíquico.La protagonista, Mikoto, es una niña mimada, pero que para alcanzar su poder hizo muchos esfuerzos. En este primer tomo, solo muestran su fuerza, su personalidad divertida, sus amigos y a su rival, pero en los t... moreomos siguientes, se puede ver una fase mas profunda de sus problemas y todo lo que envuelve la gran ciudad científica en la que vive.
review 2: The best part of this story was that the main character (female) immediately punches someone across the room for grabbing her breasts. Hooray! It really bugs me how often invasive touching like that happens in manga, and it's treated as just part of life, no big deal, don't be a twit and object. I've got no idea if it's a real part of Japanese culture, but I for sure don't want any kids I know growing up thinking that that's okay. This is the first time I've seen any character assuming she had the right to object, and backing it up. Also, the same character wears shorts under her (as always, extremely short) school uniform skirt. I'm assuming she does that because other people in the manga feel perfectly entitled to flip up her skirt, at any time, and this is her defense against that circumstance. But the only reactions in the story are for random characters in the story to assume the right to flip up her skirt and then to comment on how weird she is for doing that. Again, I don't know how this maps to real life, but it does seem that panty exposure is a given in manga. So kudos again to the creators for having a character who objects, however indirectly.Sadly, I didnt otherwise find the characters, story, or situations otherwise interesting enough to continue with the series. less
