review 1: synopsis:brad is attracted to his roommate, gavin, who he thinks is deeply in denial about being gay. when gavin is drunk one night and asks brad to have sex with him, brad doesn't, but he does help gavin get off. brad arrives home the next day after his shift with the intention of asking gavin to move out. gavin is bi, leaning more toward gay, and he's been interested in his roommate since before they were roommmates. after gavin has explained his actions, he and brad embark on a red hot affair. brad, however, has had bad experiences with his family and his lover, and is very closed in about a relationship.what i liked: that gavin, for all he was the one who people didn't know was bi, had more confidence as a gay guy than brad did. i liked brad and gavin together; they ju... morest seemed to fit. i liked that brad trusted gavin enough to tell him his story, even if that story was heartbreaking.what i didn't like: although brad was out, he never really seemed comfortable with it, almost like he was ashamed.
review 2: This was tender, hot, and emotional. Moon deftly creates characters with depth in a confined space of this short novella. Brad and Gavin are wonderful. The places where their jobs come in are realistic and compelling. Each man is made by his backstory. The love story is real and while this is clearly and erotic tale the sex doesn't feel added in as each scene pushes the plot and love story forward. I highly recommend this erotic mm romance. less
