review 1: This book would have been more enjoyable if Jamie hadn't spent more than half of it moping and whining. It wouldn't kill her to actually utilize her powers for once and have fun with it instead of creating power outages in her house from time to time. I also found her interactions with Ryan a bit repetitive. They always start with her stating they can never be together blah blah blah and ending with him convincing her otherwise. Ryan doesn't even seem like a real person to me. Which guy gives up all of his friends for a girl who constantly rejects him and never gives him a single chance? The ending literally saved the whole book. The Edwards plot twist made it a bit interesting.
review 2: I can't believe I liked reading a superhero story more than I thought I w
... moreould. What can I say about the book? It wasn't very much of a quality read and I wouldn't recommend it by saying how great a book it was. But it was such a fun read. I found myself smiling and laughing along the lines. I especially enjoyed the conversation between Jamie and Ryan. I guess I also fell for his Ryan-ness, except for the part that he pouted a lot, whether it was fake or real. Even though there was a plot, things became a little fuzzy when it came towards the end. But it still didn't effect the fun I had reading it. I'm still up for its sequel. less
