review 1: I cant believe how badly Zoe's mother treated her for things that werent her fault. Zoe's mother thinks that her daughter is an embarrassment because she is dyslexic, has a social disorder, and suffers from panic attacks. But I know that she grows up to be a cetacean biologist. None of Zoe's problems are things that would effect her intelligence, so I hate how her mother makes her feel stupid, but I am so glad to know that she one day succeeds anyway.
review 2: Letting Go gives 'Just Breathe' series fans a look into Zoe's childhood. This short story gives fans first row seats to the very first encounter between Zoe and Gavin when she was 12 and he was 4. We get to learn more about the dynamic between Zoe and her mom, Candace, and see the experience that solidif... moreied her love of whales - the moment she knew her life's purpose. It was short, but poignant and does a wonderful job of filling in some of the blanks between Zoe and Gavin. less
