Bone Secrets
review 1: This is the second book in the Bone Secrets Novel series by Kendra Elliot. This book was really great. It's told through a few different POVs. Brynn, a forensic nurse who is on the SAR team that has been sent out to look for a prisoner transport plane that has crashed in the Cascades. Alex, a U.S. Marshal, who got himself put with the SAR team so he can see for himself what happened to the serial killer that was on board. Patrick Collins, the sheriff and man in charge of the SAR team. Paul Whittenhall, a the man in charge of the local U.S. Marshals. Darrin Besand, the serial killer himself. Everyone that is searching for the plane and the people on board have something to gain and lose. From just the need to help others, to having their entire lives in the hands of who sur... morevived the crash. There are quite a few twists in the book which kept me guessing and trying to figure out if everyone was really who they say they were. There was less present time interaction between the serial killer and the other characters than in the first book in the series, but there was plenty of action, twists, and flashbacks to keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I'm excited to start the next book in the series, Buried. I'll leave you with one of my favorite lines: "It just takes the right person to spin your brain around. Then you find yourself doing things you never dreamed possible."
review 2: This is the second book in the Bone Secrets series. It took me about a third of the book to find the character who had appeared in the first book so it can definitely be read as a stand alone novel. This book is corruption, murder and romance with suspense thrown in as sugar on the top. I cant honestly say that I enjoyed this as much as the first one it didn't have the same gripping suspense but still a very enjoyable book and I will definitely be reading the others in the series. less
