review 1: An awesome and fun book for any sci fi geek! If you love zombies and you love sci fi, and tons of insider jokes, you'll love this book as I did. I even read most of this book while staying in a hotel in Houston, so that added even more fun (thankfully, it wasn't the Botany Bay :)). I would love to read more adventures with Jim and Leia!! Just to show my true geekiness, I do have one nit - JSC is Johnson Space Center, not Johnson Space-flight Center and us insiders just call it JSC. And, we all know there are hidden bunkers, we just wouldn't have guessed what was really in them! LOL
review 2: So...this was a pretty fun read. I'm not a Star Trek fan...Team Star Wars all the way...but you don't have to be a fan to get engaged with the book (though I imagine... more the book is funner for those able to catch the references). I did see some Star Wars references that made me geek out a little bit though. Plus zombies. Plus aliens. There's a little something for everyone. Definitely better than expected. Pretty awesome, actually. less
