So, before this audio book I honestly wasn’t a fan of the whole audio book craze. For years I’ve had friends tell me I need to give them a try since I love books so much. When Kennedy Fox offered an audio book in exchange for a review I knew that if any book could change my mind, it would be this one. And I’m so happy to say that it did! I listened while at work and I can honestly say those were the most productive 2 days I’ve had in the last year.
The narrator does a wonderful job of capturing the emotion and fire that is Viola and Travis’s relationship. She even does a great Travis voice and impression.My biggest complaint with audio books was that I simply could not get into them, they didn’t hold my attention. This audio book definitely kept my attention. The narrator mastered the inflections and the attitude of the book. I loved listening to it, hearing again a book I know I already love. It was the perfect thing to get me even more excited for This is Reckless!
Being a female myself, the voice in my head as I read is obviously female, but I do like audio books that offer male and female narrators (I have since become addicted to audio books, listening for at least 6 hours a work day now). This is the only thing I can think of that would make the recording better.
