review 1: I am not usually one for short stories, but having this author recommended to me, I decided to read this since it was free and see if I enjoyed the writing style. This is one of the best books I have read in awhile, and for the reason I don't like short stories, I was drawn in so much that I was sorry to see it end. The good news, I am halfway through one of Kristine Cayne's Six Alarm Sexy Series and finding it to be even better if that is possible! A new favorite author for me.
review 2: Wham, bam, thank ya maam. This short ebook starts off at the beginning of a bank robbery. In the few minutes before going into the bank to rob it we find out that Connor is undercover but had recently lost everything - his badge, his fiancee and his friends on the force who th... moreought he was a traitor. Once they are in the bank the intensity goes way up when the leader who's a little trigger happy takes the bank loan officer hostage and Conner knows he's going to kill her. What he didnt know is his ex-fiancee is now the loan officer and the gun is pointed at her head. Intense from beginning to end even with it being a very short ebook. less
