review 1: ohhhh.. my lovelies... you all know this Princess luvs her MC books... and this one is a really good one.. the story is perfect... and different. it is about a "GOOD" MC club... not a drug running, above the law MC club.the story between Eve and Angel is really strong.. and I totally loved it.. the only thing that didn't do it for me was that the intimacy seemed a little lacking... like they needed that deeper connection.. it just seemed soooo abrupt! but all in all i did enjoy it.. 3.5 crowns
review 2: Eve, a single mother from the UK, is headed to Australia for her best friends wedding. Her best friend is getting married to the president of a local MC, Severed. On her way to the Severed clubhouse she gets lost and stops at a convenience store for directio... morens... She gets more than she bargained for when she witnesses a murder. When she is noticed by the murderer, MC Carnal's VP Satan, things get worse. He doesn't leave witnesses, ever. Eve gets lucky when the boys of Severed come to save the day. Now she has a bounty on her head put there by Satan...while she's falling for his twin brother, Angel, the Severed VP all hell breaks loose.I really liked the story and the way the writers told it. It was fast paced, it had yummy sex scenes, it was quite suspenseful and the cliffy wasn't too hard on me. (Maybe because I have book #2 to read right now) I think it's a great, quick weekend read. The only thing I didn't love was...****Possible Spoiler Alert**********************So in the book Angel (the good twin) is trying to find a way to find a way to take down his brother, Satan, the legal way and decides that the Severed will set him up with drugs...only they have the best and horrific evidence against him already! Satan sent him a USB card with video of himself raping, torturing and eventually killing one of Severed's biker whores... What more evidence do you need? I just couldn't quite let that go... also the fact that Satan did the same to Angel's wife, I believe it was, years before. I don't know but Angel doesn't seem like the type to let that fly...brothers or not. I will totally read the next book because despite that flaw the rest of the book had me turning the pages. I give Severed Angel 3.5 rockin' Stars less
