review 1: I have got to say, when I first looked at the cover for this book-cute guy upside down, no shirt-well, I figured it was just going to be one of those everyday college romance books. Uh, no. Instead, I got a laugh-out-loud, snarky and holy cow sexy tale that I could not put down. With a Cleo who tries so hard not to be sucked in to the campus "sex king" (if I had been her and he was interested in me, I couldn't have resisted for two seconds) who is funny, down to earth and banters with Adrian like a pro...and Adrian being, well, smart, sexy and just WOW...you get a match of people perfect for each other. I wanted to tell Cleo to just stop resisting-you two were made for each other! The sexual tension builds and builds...and then builds some more until you just can't stand ... moreit. Even Cleo gets to the point of "There is no way I'm going to make it through this night without my clothes violently flying off my body of their own volition." It all makes for an amazing read that will keep you riveted to the pages, and when you get to the end, you'll want to know where to find more books by this author.4.5 sexy, steamy, give me more Adrian stars!
review 2: In ‘Adrian Lessons’ we meet Chloe. Chloe is a twenty two year old college student and is writing her best friends ‘sex scenes’. Marie, Chloe’s best friend, is a successful author but she is just not able to write sex scenes. So Chloe writes them for her. That is until Chloe is having a serious writers block. Now everything she writes is just not very interesting to read. When Chloe meets gorgeous playboy Adrian, Marie tries to get Adrian to help Chloe get her ‘groove’ back. But Chloe soon finds herself more than attracted to Adrian and that scares her more than anything. What Chloe and Marie don’t know is that Adrian already knows Chloe and he is desperate to help Chloe. When I read the first page of ‘Adrian Lessons’ I didn’t expect to like this book very much. I like to read romantic and sexy books but when I read the first page I was a little scared that this book would be too much sex and to little romance. Fortunately this book proved to be getting better and better from the second page on. This book was really truly funny and exciting and the passion between Chloe and Adrian was almost dripping of the pages. This book was so much more than I first expected it to be.The character I liked the most was definitely Chloe. She was just a character I could really relate to. Chloe was really insecure about herself due to her previous relationship and she just didn’t feel like she was worth Adrian’s time. Chloe worked hard for her college tuition. And the best thing was, Chloe was so so funny. I really laughed out loud many times while reading this book. Especially the part where we read about the conversation between Uterus and Brain. LOL!!!L.A. Rose writing was very interesting. ‘Adrian Lessons’ is written through Chloe’s AND Adrian’s point of view and I really loved that. There was a lot going on inside the heads of the characters and I loved reading about it. This book was definitely really worth reading and I simply loved it. less
