review 2: I liked this story. The romance is pretty simple. The only obstacle is a possibility that an old friend still has feelings for the girl. But the other guy has already moved away and there's really no tension. It's a sweet story with a few sparks between the characters.But the secondary plot between the guy and ... morehis dad is underdeveloped. He comes to town to do a job and "prove himself." Other than occasional general fretting, we don't read much about this until the dad returns for the big confrontation. I would have liked a bit more about how he came to the conclusions he shares at this point. less
