review 1: Teenaged Rowan is only concerned with boys, fashion and looking cool with her best friend Nadia, until a tragic act of despair draws her and her family into a nightmare which will change their lives irrevocably. Only Eli, already suffering his own appalling loss, can understand what Rowan is feeling and help her to find a way through. This was quite a harrowing, but ultimately hopeful, book. Wiess pulls no emotional punches in an exploration of grief, guilt and love that shows how a random sequence of events can turn lives upside down for ever. Sad, thought-provoking and beautiful.
review 2: Ho finito "io che non vivo senza te"...non è un brutto libro, penso che sia anche scritto bene ma molto triste. Ho scelto di leggerlo per le similitudini con il mio passat... moreo ma è stato un errore. ..troppo intenso per me! Ho dovuto saltare pagine per finirlo senza riaprire vecchie ferite. ..è se devo dirla tutta...non mi è piaciuta la protagonista. ..ognuno vive il dolore a suo modo...ma da ex 16enne che perde il padre così, l'ho odiata non mi è proprio piaciuta fin da subito. less
