review 1: Don't you love it when you read a book that makes you smile while it engages your imagination, your mind, your senses, and teases your intelligence? This book is all of that and more!Lauren Blakely is one of my favorite authors because her stories are not only stories full of sensuality and steaming hot love. Her stories always have a strong and intelligent plot line to thrill and entertain you.Jess and William are meant to be. From the moment they set eyes on each other, it is not only about the chemical attraction of two hormonal 21-year-olds. There is something deeper that connects and makes them feel whole and safe when they are together. But things are not what they seem on the surface and trust is a hard commodity. In the world of the paparazzi, the competition is fi... moreerce, you do not trust anyone or you will be scooped; you keep your enemies close so you can keep an eye on them. Hollywood is called Tinseltown for a reason. Everyone is playing their power gain in their race to success. On the surface everything glitters and seems wholesome. Being able to read the undercurrent of deceit and mendacity is the trick to survival in this environment. Our Jess is good at this game, but she is dealing with pros. Although nothing should surprise her any more, she has to stay on her toes so she does not get played. As always, our author gives a well written, masterfully plotted story that will both amaze and amuse. It is also a story of first love and recognizing that life only gives you one chance at happiness. Recognizing your options and taking a risk at love is part of living, unless you want to waste your life by just viewing others from the sidelines.
review 2: I really enjoyed reading the start of William and Jess' story! They each needed one another to get what they wanted most. For Jess, it was money to pay off her school loans. For William, it was a job to be able to stay in the country for good. There was only one problem..."She was the competition."With egos galore and stolen kisses, how will these two ever come up with a solution?! Easy! Learn to work together! Okay, maybe not so easy;)This was a great intro into the crazy paparazzi world that brought these two together! Can't wait to continue this story! less
