review 1: My favorite of the series. Largely because it reminded me of another series I read back in the day that I will have to come back to add because I can't find/remember the name. At any rate Holden reminded me of this character that I liked, kind of absurd in his humor although Holden is troubled in a way that the other character was not. Again, the mystery worked well although there did seem to be a lot of more in the book than it could fit. This was the most well-written in my opinion and well-worth the read.
review 2: I think this is my favourite book of the series. Probably more a 3.5 than a full 4The story in this one is much more fleshed out, the mystery is pretty mysterious lol, it certainly kept me guessing. The cast of characters were all worth reading.M
... morey only problem with this one is the same as the others, I just don’t feel any real emotional connection between the MC. While I liked Adam, he came across as sweetly vulnerable, Holden just came across as a pervy old man. In fact I think I could of happily read this one with all the sex taken out. For me the story just didn’t need Holden’s creepy perverse thoughts. less
