review 1: This was a really good book. I think what I liked the most about it was the mystery. The romance was a bonus, but the mystery kept me hanging on, wanting to know more about the characters and their pasts, about the killer and who he was, about everything. The author did a really good job with character development and storytelling. I enjoyed the book so much that I read the second book and am now on the third one.
review 2: Loved this one, mainly because I loved Trevor. It's tough to create a believable tough sweet tortured hero, but the author really succeeded here. The story line with Rain was intriguing too, the daughter of a dead rock star with a cult status. The intertwining of Trevor learning more about and accepting his past, Rain doing likewise, pl... moreus the nasty icky villain threatening them made it a cracking good read. less
