review 1: Agein, the author did an excellent job with the characters and story. I liked all the add-ins she put into the story to make it heartfelt and full of hope and love. While they're in the middle of an investigation, the FBI agent is concerned with his health and the woman he cares about. The female lead character is trying to be strong. She's a fighter and a survivor. Both of the lead characters were very well developed and wonderful to get to know. When I found out who the killer was, I just shook my head and nearly cried. It was a really good book. It was one of the first copy-cat books that I've enjoyed. I rarely like books about copycat killers; however, the author made me want to keep reading, and she made me want to get in the book and start smacking some of t... morehe other characters around. I figure if a writer can get me to talking to the book, yelling, and ready to go into the novel to save the day or simply smack someone, they're doing their job. Ms. Tentler, definitely did her job :).
review 2: Once again, couldn't put it down! Truthfully, I was a bit disappointed when I realized it wasn't a continuation of the first book, but almost immediately, I was swept up into the new plot and new characters that those feelings of disappointment quickly dissipated. I'm thinking I might be turning into a romantic suspense fan... or maybe I'm just a huge Leslie Tentler fan because she writes a DAMN GOOD BOOK!!! less
