review 1: To start off I shall say that there is only about three other series I have ditched on this point: the main character is such a cow I can’t abide her; she’s selfish, unkind, lacks empathy, doesn’t stand back and take a good look at herself, and frankly, she behaves like a three year old. Needless to say, book and series DITCHED.The book/character actually contradicts herself on the main point in the romance factor: they have been together forever the love of her life and all that including "his soul completes me), and suddenly she decides that he’s loved her forever is not good enough. She actually throws their entire relationship away after a hissy fit on something that annoyed her. Why anyone would think the “to protect you” phrase is a phase you use to ... moresomeone you love, then she needs to go back to school and study up on her comprehension skills. So then all of a sudden this same character says about someone else "he's the other half of my soul". Work that one out.The bottom line is that when you grow-up, if you want some people skills and in addition to keep your friends, you enable yourself to take a great big step backwards and look at how other people see you and their responses to you as an individual. So, let’s add immature as another failing of the character.Because she annoyed me so very much, I have had to ditch what I thought was going to be a good series. Bye bye Zoey and Lexi.
review 2: Hot sex scenes.Ménage à trois.Better detail and psyche's into the characters.Check.Check.Check!This novel was well rounded and did a lot of development into the three main characters, Daniel, Dev and Zoey. There is a great plot and the story is coming even quicker now. I was not bore at all. The emotions were heightened and I had a couple scenes were I was barely able to manage my tears from escaping. Plus I love where the story is going. Book number three comes in January 2014 and I am so eager to read it! less
