review 1: This is a great book. Paranormal isn't usually my thing, but I really liked this story. The main character, Florence, comes to life right from the beginning. You understand her and feel for her every step of the way even though the obstacles she must overcome and the world she lives in aren't exactly run of the mill. I like the way the relationship between Flo and Frank develops and his story is interesting, too. I want to know more about both of them. I'm definitely reading the sequel next.
review 2: A bit predictable. the beginning is almost exactly like twilight, it's quite ironic. the end got interesting and did have some elements added that I didn't expect but I couldn't imagine what the next book could possibly be about. good message to teens with blemish... morees in appearance or character to be true to yourself express yourself and to face your fears. A good read for that bored spare time. Wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a good book to keep you interested. less
